The Revenant's ability is named Aggressive Blink. It can only be used when the Revenant is locked-on to an enemy within 350m. Upon activation, the Revenant removes any negative effects currently inflicted upon it, gains immunity to negative effects for the rest of the ability, then teleports in front of the enemy it was locked on to, a process taking 2 seconds. When in front of the enemy, the Revenant's ability lasts for 10 seconds, then enters a cooldown phase of 18 seconds.
While its ability is active, the Revenant gains 99% resistance to losing hull integrity, which means that most of the damage the Revenant takes while in its ability can be repaired by healing modules, Pilot skills, drones or robots. This includes damage inflicted by the Scatter, Havoc and Devastator, which would usually be irreparable by the former.
The Revenant also features two side-mounted physical shields each on either side of its hull, each possessing 64,600 durability (for a total of 129,200 ) at level one. Being physical shields, they can absorb energy projectiles, but take double damage from kinetic projectiles and are bypassed entirely by flamethrower and splash weapons while still taking damage from them.
The Revenant is an excellent initiator of fights, designed to ambush enemies, destroy them in one salvo and repair itself afterwards. However, the Revenant's ability lacks a failsafe button, meaning that if it fails to complete its primary objective during its ability, it cannot retreat or deploy resistances and instead relies on only its dual physical shields for protection until its next ability period.
Unlike other tank robots such as the Traditionalist Falcon or the Fenrir with the Bernadette Wolff legendary pilot, Revenant is more suited to not use Traditionalist or Road Hog buffs as its ability makes it much stronger offensively. A Fenrir obviously has superior firepower and base health pool, whereas a Falcon's ability is not that useful in the late game and is better off being used as a tank.
Another disadvantage is that Revenant's dual shields are close enough to the robot that they receive damage from explosive weapons if the rockets damage the robot itself, and the shields will often break without getting any good use out of them.
Revenant is very reliant on modules, pilot skills and drones with good Microchip setups in order to survive. Its average firepower of one heavy and two lights, coupled with low ground speed and a very offensive ability, means that carefully planned setups must be used on the robot to survive effectively.

New Legendary Skin: Teremok
- The Revenant has a slower tower rotation speed compared to other robots, making it less responsive against fast robots that may be attempting to flank it very quickly.
- Unlike the Scorpion (which activates resistance or stealth [Ash] before teleporting), there is generally no warning when a Revenant activates its ability. Making it harder for opponents to predict when it will teleport.
- There seems to be a slight delay when teleporting from its initial location to the target location, it could be lag or intentional.
- In game files, the technical name for the Retro Revenant is "Old Revenant".
