Introduction[]

The Repair Unit is an active module, freely available to all pilots.

Strategy[]

This module allows a robot to repair 25% of its health over a period of 5 seconds. It then enters a 20-second cooldown phase.

Correct use of the Repair Unit can promote the time you have your robot on field by using it wisely. By activating it in battles to negate damage, or to repair your robot behind cover, you can potentially last much longer on the battlefield then without it. It's a good idea to make sure your black (not grey) health bar is large, as it means your Repair Unit will be much more effective, if not fully effective.

A major problem with mounting the Repair Unit is that it takes up your Active Module slot, which means that other top picks like Quantum RadarPhase Shift and Shieldbreaker cannot be mounted. However, the mentioned are all extremely situational, so by taking into account what role your robot performs, Repair Unit can prove to be much more effective as an Active Module.

If you have many Power Cells, it's a good idea to swap out the Repair Unit for the Advanced Repair Unit, as the latter repairs twice as much health, at the cost of twice as much Power Cells. Late-game, when the commander has acquired a significant amount of Power Cells, it's highly reccommended to try the Advanced Repair Unit.
