Introduction[]

Paralysis is a Tier 4 Drone introduced in Update 7.1.0. It is a control/damage drone. Its four abilities can be unlocked when upgraded to level 12 with 1000 Microchips and a MK3 Token. Tier 4 Drones are considered "Exclusive Content" and are not available in the Drone Shop. Only Store deals, the Black Market and Special Events can provide them.

Abilities[]

Lockdowner. Enables all robot weapons to apply Lock-down. Effect accumulation of 0.8% (Level 1) to 1.9% (Level 12) per shot.

Additional Damage. Available at level 4. This drone increases the damage output of the robot by 7%.

On Repair Unit: Damage. Available at level 9. After the robot uses Repair Unit or Advanced Repair Unit, it gains 5% damage increase for 7 seconds.

On Repair Unit: Defense. Available at level 12. After the robot uses Repair Unit or Advanced Repair Unit, it gains 20 Defense Points for 10 seconds.

Strategies[]

One of the best Tier 4 drones at Level 1, Paralysis enables all of a robot's weapons to apply Lock-down. It is useful on any bot with a high-frequency weapon loadout, as the lockdown needs to accumulate over time. The calculation is built on 'particles' the weapon emits. It does not work well on weapons like Spear or Dragoon, but works great on lead hoses (Smuta, Razdor, Kramola) or lasers (Hwangje, Yeoje, Taeja). Level 4 does give an okay 7% damage boost, but it's not recommended to upgrade Paralysis above level 4. At levels 9 and 12, Paralysis' two On Repair Unit abilities provide a measly 5% damage increase and not-very-decent 20 Defense Points. Not only that, but both have a rather short duration (7 and 10 seconds, respectively). On top of that, the requirement of Repair Unit or Advance Repair Unit eliminates any flexibility for other Active Module choices (no Quantum Radar, Phase Shift, Unstable Conduit, etc.). Paralysis is not worth any further Microchip investments after level 4.
