Introduction

The Havoc is a close-range (up to 200 meters, with a 100m optimal range) medium sonic weapon. It has a light and heavy counterpart (Scatter and Devastator respectively) and can be viewed as the sonic counterpart to the Corona and Storm.

Strategy

The Havoc is a sonic shotgun with the ability to devastate any enemy at close range. However, due to its 200-meter range, any robot featuring this weapon will be outranged by any robot featuring non-sonic weapons, which means that the main challenge in using the Havoc is getting close enough to attack an enemy.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Critical damage at any functional range
  • Can easily deplete Ancile and Aegis shields due to its huge damage and spread
  • Is effective at prolonged combat
  • Damage dealt cannot be repaired (unless the Demeter is used with it's Legendary Pilot APPM-3TR)

Cons

  • Extremely short range
  • Is a shotgun weapon, meaning it has an even shorter optimal range
  • Is a sonic weapon, meaning it cannot penetrate any shield or deal double damage to physical shields
