Introduction

The Glacier is a close-range (up to 300 meters) cryogenic heavy rocket weapon. It was released during the Halloween 2019 event with the Cryo and the Rime.

Strategy

The explosive shells works very similar to its medium counterpart Cryo and it's light counterpart Rime, due to the freeze ability and the reload while firing mechanic.

It is very similar to the Exodus. When unloading and quickly finding cover once it's empty, it also has good synergy with other close-range weapons as well. It increases the damage dealt to the target when it is in a closer range, just like most of the other rocket launchers. A hit-and-run strategy is advisable due to its huge burst damage + freeze effect and poor performance in sustained combat.

Though the Glacier doesn't deal enough damage to the enemies by itself, therefore it should be used with multiple Glaciers or with Cryos, Rimes or other close-range weapons to maximize it's potential.

The Glacier's ability to freeze enemy robots and splash damage , especially when used with its counterparts, makes it very useful at pinning down fast-moving enemy robots which rely on their speed to cause maximum speed and chaos, such as the Kumiho, Strider  or Pursuer. This allows one's teammates to quickly eliminate the threat and buy's time for the rest of the team to get into a good firing position.

It can also be used to pin down enemies pursuing you, allowing more time for a strategic retreat or repositioning without losing too much health. Lastly, it is a very effective counter to Titans, blasting an enemy Titan with the Glacier or Glaciers deals significant damage and slows the target down, allowing you and your teammates to deal immense damage while the Titan is slowed down. It is best to have one or more Cryogenic weapon for this strategy to be effective.
