Trivia

  • Boosters were introduced in Update 4.0 (June 2018). Initially there were only combat boosters (slight boosts of fighting power) and resource boosters(increased Silver, Keys and/or Honor income). Boosters also came in different durations, ranging from 30 mins to 5 days. Later on the system was refined, resulting in three classes of 8 distinct boosters (Attack: damage, ability cooldown; Defense: durability, shields, speed; Resources: Keys, Silver, Honor Points), where each booster could be activated separately.
  • Apart from giving the user a buff, boosters also used to provide a much smaller buff to the whole squad, which was designed to promote teamwork. This feature was removed later on due to 6-player clan squads being already overpowered in most cases.
  • After the rework of Honor Points, where Honor was directly related to team ranking and Silver rewarded in a battle (1 Honor Point = 200 Ag), Honor boosters had "cheating" properties that boosted a player's team rank (and therfore League score) which potentially made the game unfair. Also, Honor boosters had the same function as Silver boosters. Therefore, they were made mostly unobtainable shortly after, but old players still got to keep their remaining Honor boosters. Honor boosters were never really removed from the game, until the whole booster system rework. Honor boosters were also rarely available as in-game purchase Offers, which was very controversial.
